Paint Marker on Magnet sheet

Artist’s Note: "Blue Gaze" is a small drawing with paint marker on a magnetic sheet, roughly cut out and stuck to the metal front door of my studio. If the piece goes missing, I will replace it daily for the duration of this event. This piece is a riff on a series of drawings on vellum I made after attending a conference organized by Tracie Hall, called 'The Artist as Problem Solver'. The original drawings responded to the depth of human interaction I experienced there. You can see those drawings here, shown in random layers.

ART-IN-PLACE is organized by CNL Productions and Terrain Exhibitions.
