Artist’s Note: Upon the passing of a loved one, I have been thinking about archways. In this work, arches are rainbows that contrast with heavy squared concrete giving structure below. Entitled Liminal Space, the work examines the in between that exists in rites of passage and often involves the struggle to find peace and survive to become fully present in the awaiting phase.
