Artist’s Note: Red Flag Beach Day is panels of a seascape created in the front windows of my home. Depictions include a mermaid shouting "beware meduza!!!!", a flying coyote with a jellyfish in its mouth and a banner of red flags above a crying fox. Neighbors and local artists have been invited to contribute cuts outs or drawings of shells, strange fish, sea plants or coral to create the rock upon which the Mermaid sits. Installation of contributed material will take place for the duration of the show.
